Thursday 7th May 2015: UICC's Chief Executive Officer, Dr Cary Adams was last night named as 'Chief Executive of the Year' at the International and European Association Awards held in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Announced at a special ceremony that was part of the Associations Congress, the award is in 'recognition of a Chief Executive (Executive Head) of an Association for their work in professional leadership of their organisation'.
Speaking of the honour, Cary said, "I am delighted to receive the prestigious award of CEO of the Year in 2015, not for my own achievements, but in recognition of the incredibly talented and committed UICC Board, team, members and partners around the world, who collectively address cancer on a day-to-day basis."
